Arriving at Antalya Airport: Terminals, Day and Night

Antalya Airport (AYT) has two international terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and a domestic terminal, 13 km north-east of the city centre. The tram and city buses 600 and 800 serve the city, and taxis wait outside every arrivals exit at all hours. Public transport thins out late at night and does not reach the resorts, so for a late landing or a hotel in Belek, Side, Kemer or Alanya a car booked in advance is the easiest way.
Antalya Airport handled about 39 million passengers in 2025, most of them on international flights in the summer season. The airport is busy but simple once you know which terminal you are in and how you are getting on.
Which terminal will I land at?
- Terminal 1 and Terminal 2: international flights. Your airline or booking tells you which; the two are a short way apart.
- Domestic terminal: flights within Türkiye, for example from Istanbul.
- Your transfer booking needs only your flight number: we see the terminal and the landing time from it.
From landing to the exit
On an international flight you go through passport control, collect your bags and pass customs before you reach the arrivals hall. In the summer peak the passport queue can be long, so allow up to an hour between landing and walking out. With a booked transfer the first 60 minutes after the actual landing time are free, so the queue costs nothing extra.
Getting into the city
- Tram T1A: runs from the airport into the city; change at İsmetpaşa for Kaleiçi.
- Bus 600: to the main bus station (otogar), where intercity buses leave for the resorts.
- Bus 800: to Lara and along the coast to Konyaaltı.
- Havaş airport bus: to the 5M Migros shopping centre on the western edge of the city.
- Taxi: outside every arrivals exit, around the clock, on the meter.
Timetables change by season and get thinner after midnight, so check the current times with Antalyakart or Havaş before you travel. None of these lines goes to Belek, Side, Kemer or Alanya without a change.
Landing late at night
Many charter flights land late at night or in the early morning. After midnight the tram and most buses have stopped or run only a few times, while taxis keep waiting at the rank. A booked car is the calmest choice: the driver follows your flight, waits at the exit with your name even if you are hours late, and the price is the same at night as in the day. See our prices from €25 to Lara and €40 to Belek.
Before you leave the airport
- Set up an eSIM or a roaming plan before you fly; free airport Wi-Fi is time-limited.
- Cash machines are in the terminals; you can pay our drivers in EUR, TRY or USD.
- Keep your hotel's exact name and address on your phone; many resort names are similar.
Where exactly to find your driver: walk out of the arrivals hall of your terminal. The driver stands right at the exit with a sign showing your name, and we send the driver's name and phone number the day before.
